How it Works
Use the online contact form to advise the repairs you require with a much information as possible.
On receipt of this we will provide a quotation on the information yo provided or request some pictures or further information.
Once the quote is accepted we will arrange a collection via My Hermes or you can drop the Handbag to a local My Hermes shop.
When you bag has been received we will undertake the works quoted for, some repairs that require replacement parts to be ordered will be ordered to enable us to undertake the quoted repairs. When ordering compatible parts i.e. colour matched zips there is a delay in the works being undertaken as this are special orders.
Once the item has been completed we will wrap your item and advise you the handbag is ready for its return, along with our bacs details for you to make the payment.
Payment is only requested once your item is ready to be returned, we only accept BAC’s for this service as it lowers the cost that companies charge like paypal act.
Your goods will be collect from us via My Hermes and dispatched to your chosen address, My Hermes service is 3 – 5 days. If you would like a quicker service please advise and we can provide you a cost via Parcel Force.
My Hermes offer collections Monday – Friday and collect from 8am to 8pm, they use local self employed agents for there collection with big customers like Next, Amazon and Ebay using them for there services, there is a very good chance you will no your local agent.
My Hermes do NOT offer timed collections or deliveries, we are unable to make contact to your local agent for any updates regarding your delivery or collection, any special requirements or notes, i.e. parcel left in porch ect need to be advised prior to your label being raised.
My Hermes offer a £25 compensation if your item is lost or damaged while in there possession. This can be increased at a cost to yourself and should you require please advise us prior to your label being raised.
We do not accept any liability for lost, damage or stolen items that are in My Hermes possession.
Lead times quoted are approximated and are not set in stone, we will always try our best to turn you handbag repair around as quick as possible, some repairs will take a lot longer than others due to the works involved. We do not offer a fast turn around service we offer affordable repairs that are completed to a estimated turnaround. We do not request any deposits upfront and we pay for the upfront handbag collection. We only request payment once your handbag has been completed and is ready for return.
With all our handbag repairs we offer a standard thirty day workmanship guarantee, we guarantee the works we have undertaken and the materials/parts we have supplied.
We do not offer a guarantee on materials/parts which are supplied by the customer nor do we guarantee that your current materials.
All repairs are completed in good faith to put your Handbag back in to a useable condition and ready for you to use.
If we offer you a make good repair, this means we will try our best to put it back to a useable condition but does not come with any guarantee.
Collection / Delivery
Unfortunately we do not offer a drop off and collection service, over 75% of our repairs are completed onsite at peoples homes or work (Furniture – Cars) so our workshop are not manned for us to offer this as a service.
Our Collections and deliveries are made via My Hermes who we have a account with and manage all our deliveries and collections. There delivery and collection service is very reasonable and keeps the cost down and inconvenience low.
